FAR 141 Flight Training is Here

Our FAR141 Flight Training Certification has been awarded.

On June 12th 2010 the FAA Awarded us our 14 CFR 141 Certificate

We are excited to offer Private Pilots and Instrument Courses, right here at The South Valley Regional Airport, where getting in the air is fast and easy!

Its Barbecue time! July 31st 11:00AM to 1:00PM - We will be serving Hamburgers, Hot dogs, Chips, Watermelon and Lemonade. Ask about the aircraft of the Month for August.

Congratulations to Anthony Eye- New Private Pilot! Anthony has worked diligently and received the rewards of his hard work. Tom Kuhlman pronounced Anthony a private pilot this past Tuesday. Many thanks as well to CFIs- Chris Brewer, Myles Gilbert, and Tony Sare who all helped Anthony achieve his goal.

New Online Flight Schedule System

We are Excited to inform you that we are changing our online reservations to system to "Flight Schedule Pro" next week! We will be sending all current Customer and Pilots an invite.

This State of the Art, and Free of charge system is available to all customers and pilots for real time scheduling of aircraft and other services .

All current customers we will receive a link, via email for fast and convenient registration.

A new web page will also be available for registration and login information.

Update on the FAR 141 Flight Training Course

We have gone through the final Stages of Certification and are awaiting FAA documents and Approval, of our program.

We should have this in the next few Days!

Taxiways will be having a new sealant applied to all taxiways .

Some taxiways will be closed during this time, however access to runways will be available. Please check with us or with Steve Jackson ( Airport Manager) at the South Valley Regional Airport (801) and Notams for schedules and events.

Flying is not just going out and boring holes in the Sky! It's a gift that we as pilots/non pilots can enjoy in many ways, so lets enjoy.

Please comment on ideas that you may have, on how we as a flying community here at South Valley Regional, can enjoy our passion/love forflying together.

In just the wonderful State of Utah we have an enormous amount of scenery that can only be seen from the air, lets share it with someone.

Flying, it's a means to do out of the ordinary things. So lets do it!

We at "The Air Center" want to know what you would like to do!

Do you want to do Fly-ins, Mountain Flying. Camping trips , Cross Country Dead Reckoning Flying (no GPS the old fashioned way), or perhaps ?? You let us and your fellow Aviators know what you have in mind!
